About False Ceiling

False ceiling; also known as drop or suspended ceilings. This is because they are hung or dropped from the structural or main ceiling. It is said that drop ceilings were first used in the Muromachi period in Japan (around 14th-16th century) in order to increase the aesthetic appeal of spaces.
